Talladega activity begins Thursday

    TALLADEGA, Ala. (AP) - Fourteen drivers will attempt to qualify
in both the Nationwide and Sprint Cup series races this weekend in
Talladega.
    That includes previous Talladega winners Dale Earnhardt Jr.,
Michael Waltrip, Joe Nemechek, Brian Vickers and Kyle Busch.
    That group will be among those trying to qualify in both the
Aaron’s 312 Nationwide Series race and Aaron’s 499 Sprint Cup
Series race at Talladega Superspeedway.
    Earnhardt is the only one of the 14 drivers to have won both
races.
    Nationwide Series drivers Brad Keselowski and Eric McClure will
try to drive their way into Sunday’s Sprint Cup race.
