Auburn lands top WR in Alabama

SPRINGVILLE, Ala. - Springville High School wide receiver Jeremy Richardson verbally committed to play football for the Auburn Tigers on Friday.

Richardson is the top-rated wide receiver in the state of Alabama for the 2010 recruiting season.  As a junior in 2008, the 6-4, 220-pound Richardson caught 61 passes for 1,228 yards and 18 touchdowns.

Richardson chose Auburn over offers from Alabama, LSU and Tennessee. He becomes the fifth verbal commitment for Auburn’s 2010 recruiting class.
