Wet weather on tap for Halloween.

Interesting weather over next few days as a cold front slowly moves our way from the nations mid-section.  Very pleasant weather will continue this evening, but clouds will be on the increase as a warm front moves northward from the Gulf Coast.  Toward morning a few stray showers may break out.  Now I don’t think the weather will be all that bad Thursday through Friday, but it will be unsettled with cloudy periods and a few showers, and maybe a little thunder.  And it will be much warmer with highs between 76 and 81 across the area.
Saturday is Halloween, and it looks like the atmosphere has some tricks for us.  I expect at least a few hours of rain, and there could be a few strong thunderstorms as well.  Questionable weather for the Auburn game, the truck race in Talladega, and of course for trick or treaters.
Sunday will be better, but a shower could linger.
