Weekend off to a great start with moonlit skies and very comfortable conditions.

in the wake of a cold front that gave us some scattered showers Friday morning, drier air is now slowly flowing in, and skies are clear and lit by a nearly full moon.  Temperatures will sink down to a range from 47-52 overnight.  With temperatures and dewpoints close together, I think some patchy dense fog may form.  Once that fog burns off, Saturday will be a fine day with sunshine, and temperatures recovering quickly, reaching middle 70’s by lunchtime and peaking near 80.  Humidity levels will be very low.  Overall it will be quite a day, and a great day to be outside.  And the good weather will hold as well for the Tide in Lexington, Kentucky, and for the Tigers in Knoxville, Tennessee.
Saturday night will be dry and cool, then Sunday will bring a weather change.  Moisture will return quickly and the front that originally came through Friday will return as a warm front moving up from the south.  That will mean an increase in cloudiness, and rain willm start up during the afternoon or evening.
Sunday night looks wet, and occasional showers will continue on Monday.  The rest of next week looks unsettled with at least a chance of showers each day.  It will be warming up with highs in the middle 80’s starting Tuesday.
