Very summerlike outside now…likely to be very wet by this time Friday.

I am sitting here assessing the latest computer model guidance arriving in the NBC-13HD weather center.  Sure still looks like it will be turning wet starting Friday mid-to-late afternoon and continuing Friday evening.  A few high schools moved their football games up to Thursday night, and that appears to have been a very good decision, as Friday night will feature rain and scattered thunderstorms, and there will be some heavy downpours.  This would seem to be a “soaker”.  Some rain will linger Saturday as well, though it is possible it will not be as heavy as what falls Friday evening.  In fact, I don’t think it will be.  Still I expect Saturday to be cloudy and cooler with at least a little rain or drizzle.  I say “cooler”, because temperatures once again on Friday will head well up in the 80’s before the rain gets here.
