Temperatures falling quickly now, headed to the upper 30’s and low 40’s.
Looking forward to seeing everyone at one of these events: I will make an appearance at Sumiton school this coming Thursday at 11am to speak to the students and teachers.
Then on Friday I will be doing the weather live at 5 and 6 pm at the Relay for Life event at Spain Park in Hoover. This event is an American Cancer Society annual festival that always draws plenty of people, and its a real celebration of cancer survivors, and a real tribute to those who have passed away from the disease. Finally I will be emceeing the annual Night of Hope Gala this coming Saturday night at the Cahaba Grand Conference center. This is an event produced by JDRF, and it is a great fund-raising event, and a way to honor the many, many people who deal with diabetes every day.
Weatherwise, after unseasonably cold conditions overnight, temperatures will start recovering nicely Wednesday, and the warmup will really kick into high gear Thursday and Friday. Sometimes after coming out of a cold snap, nighttime temperatures are slow to come up, but that will not be the case this go-round. Temperatures will only fall to the low and middle 50’s tomorrow night.
I cannot rule out a shower any afternoon from Thursday through Saturday, but I am not expecting much rain at all.
