Storms returning this evening

Haze and some clouds is all that we can see for here atop Red Mountain this evening.  Radar is showing a large cluster of showers and storms to our south.  This is moving northward with lots of heavy rain with lots of lightning.  This will mean some t’storms this evening especially areas west and south of Birmingham.  They will slowly weaken this evening as they move northward.  A drier pattern is slowly moving in today.  This will continue through Thursday into Friday.  Showers and storms will return Saturday with a cold front that could bring some nice autumn weather next week.
