Still Humid

Muggy and breezy is how it will feel much of this morning.  We’ve got some low stratus clouds advecting in on those easterly winds as well.  An isolated shower possible this morning, but I expect most folks won’t see any rain.

Today and Friday will remain humid with the chance for a few showers and thunderstorms mostly in the afternoon.  I don’t think coverage will be as great though the next couple of days.  Locally heavy downpours still expected with those storms that do develop.  The weekend looks to be dry and hot with temperatures in the 90s.

Ike continues to strengthen in the Gulf of Mexico with landfall still likely along the Texas Coast early Saturday morning.
