Significant Rain Still Coming

So far there has been only a smattering of showers across the area, but that will gradually change overnight, and I still expect a wet rush hour for Wednesday morning.  There really is not one large blob of rain that will be coming our way.  So I am not going to forecast a 6-hour or more period of steady rain.  Suffice it to say, I thing it would be a tactical mistake to leave the house without an umbrella in the morning.  In fact, it may well be that we get our most persistent rains in the daybreak to noon period on Wednesday. 
Now forecasting the end of the rain and a change from clouds to clearing is a real challenge.  I don’t think there will be much rain on Thursday, but I could still see a shower and I think plenty of clouds will linger.  Even on Friday, I don’t want to rush the clearing, since some clouds will probably linger.
