Severe thunderstorms

Tornado watches have already been issued for Mississippi and extreme North Alabama.  Thunderstorms are likely for this afternoon into tonight.  Locally heavy downpours, damaging straight line winds and even a tornado are all possible with these thunderstorms.  Although we aren’t expecting severe weather over the weekend, rain is still expected especially the first half of the day on Saturday.  Isolated showers are possible Saturday afternoon and Sunday.  Temperatures won’t be near as warm over the weekend either.
