Rain trying to move in

A complex weather pattern is setting up across Alabama.  Low pressure to our west is providing lift and moisture, high pressure to our east is providing cool, dry air.  I believe the dry air will win the battle for most of the day keeping rain mainly west of I-65 into the afternoon.  Later tonight the rain will become more widespread and have embedded t’storms going through Friday.  The rain will shift east of the state late on Friday.  This means drier weather will shift in for Saturday and Sunday.  A surge of colder air will likely arrive on Monday, more on that later today.
