Rain tapering off tonight

A soaking rain has covered every square inch of the viewing are tonight.  The back edge is in northwest Alabama and will moves eastward with time.  There is a chance of a gravity wave with the back edge of the rain which will mean winds could gust over 30 mph through the midnight hour.

A few showers are possible on Monday, but I think much of the day will be rain-free.  Showers will return Tuesday evening into Wedensday.  The wet pattern will be with us through of the week ahead.
