Rain looking more likely for the weekend, with the wettest period coming Saturday night.

In a nutshell, I expect dry weather to continue through Friday night, then it will turn wet Saturday afternoon and Saturday night as a Gulf of Mexico low pressure sends moisture our way.  Tonight will be another very chilly one with temperatures heading down to the uppr 30’s.  Actually in some spots tonight may be colder than last night, since skies will be more uniformly clear. As a result, there will be more frost formation tonight.
Friday will be a beautiful day with plenty of sunshine and temperatures heading to the middle and upper 60’s. Great weather will continue for Friday night football with clear skies and temperatures in the 40’s.  However later Friday night, clouds will start to increase, and Saturday will likely dawn mostly cloudy.
As the low in the Gulf develops, moisture will increase Saturday.  Rain could begin in Greene and Hale counties as early as 10 am, and could easily make it to Tuscaloosa by noon or 1 pm. It will then continue to spread northeastward and all spots will likely be wet by 4 or 5 pm.  Saturday night will be wet, and even on Sunday, enough moisture will remain for cloudy skies and some lingering showers.
Monday and Tuesday will be dry, then there may be a shower Wednesday evening as a cold front arrives.  Behind that front, most of the Thanksgiving weekend will be dry and cool.
