Rain is moving back in today

The rain looks to arrive a bit earlier than expected and could very well be in West Alabama by 2-3pm.  I also think there will be some rain arriving in the metro area by early this evening.  Rain, heavy at times is expected overnight and through the day Wednesday.  While a break in the rain is expected Wednesday into Thursday morning, more showers expected Thursday during the day.  An additional 2”-4” of rain is possible and therefore the National Weather Service has issued a Flash Flood Watch starting late this afternoon through Wednesday.
