Quiet Night To Continue

» 0 Comments | Post a Comment

It is simply an incredible night outside, and conditions will not change much overnight with clear skies and temperatures falling to the upper 50’s.  Meanwhile a thin band of showers and thunderstorms is draped from the Ohio Valley to Missouri.  That marks the position of a cold front that will arrive here Tuesday afternoon.  There is not much moisuture in places over the southeastern states, so the front will not cause much rain.  But a thin band of convection may develop just ahead of the front Tuesday afternoon and so some of of us may get a 15-30 minute thundershower.
Behind the front northwesterly winds will take over, and that will mean cooler air.  Temperatures will fall to the middle 50’s Tuesday night, and only rise to the 70’s on Wednesday, then we expect upper 40’s for lows Wednesday night.
