More summerlike

Temperatures today and Friday will be more indicative of summer with high temperatures well into the 80s and plenty of humidity around.  Most areas won’t see rain today or for much of the day on Friday.  However, late tomorrow afternoon a cold front will approach the state and we could see a few late afternoon thunderstorms in northwest Alabama with a better chance for storms moving into the state after 6pm.  That being said, high school football games taking place west of I65 could very well see some rain and perhaps thunder and lightning.  The front will be slow moving translating into a pretty wet Saturday with showers and thunderstorms likely.  Many of the computer models are trending drier for Sunday afternoon.
