Lull in the rain not going to last very long, as a cold front will arrive this weekend.
Not a whole lot going on in Alabama weather right now. There could certainly be a shower overnight, and there will be some low clouds and fog toward daybreak. Temperatures will inch downward toward 70 degrees. Friday will be another warm day with highs well up in the 80’s. A couple of scattered thundershowers will likely break out for the afternoon and evening, but again I don’t think it will be anything widespread.
As a cold front approaches on Saturday thunderstorms will become more widespread with most areas likely to get some rain. There could be a few stronger storms, though low-level winds appear quite light, so I am not expecting widespread severe weather.
Sunday will be drier, and behind a second cold front, humidities will really head downward starting later Monday and Tuesday.
