Looks good through Fireworks time.

Its been another nice summer day here in the deep south with the effects of temperatures in the 90’s partially offset by relatively low humidity values.  Looks good across the area this evening and tonight with clear skies continuing and temperatures easing down to about 77 by 9 pm and eventually to an overnight low of 64.
Saturday, of course is the 4th of July, and the daylight period is generally for bar-b-que and pool parties, and the weather will cooperate very nicely with sunshine and afternoon highs in the low 90’s.  Humidity levels may increase a little, but will not reach oppressive levels.
Now those levels will really increase Saturday evening, so plan on a muggy time of it as you gather at your favorite spot to watch fireworks.  We are talking about rain chances increasing slowly Saturday night, but it sure looks as if any showers will hold off until after the fireworks have lit up the skies, and really I am not expecting any rain until well after midnight.
Sunday and Monday will be muggy days with a quite a bit more cloud cover and some thunderstorms.  The highest chance of a few strong storms will be Sunday afternoon, with the highest chance of some heavy downpours coming Monday, and for that matter, probably Tuesday as well.  That would not be so bad, since area lawns are really drying out.
Have a GREAT 4th of July everyone and be safe!
