Looking basically rainfree through Friday.

Everything is quiet on the homefront tonight with temperatures easing down from highs in the low and middle 90’s, and now falling into the 70’s.  Just a few small cumulus clouds remain and they will be gone soon.  By daybreak it will be down in the middle to upper 60’s.
I don’t see much reason for big changes the next 2 days, and in fact, with that in mind, I have decided to take the chance of a thunderstorm out of the forecast for Friday.  Its not that the chance is zero…it is not…but it is small enough, I feel, to remove the chance from the actual forecast.  Overall the atmosphere looks rather dry and stable, and so I expect mostly sunny skies to continue.
Now at some point this 4th of July weekend,  a front will inch closer to us from the north, and that will mean better thundershower chances.  However there is even a chance, that does not happen until Sunday, and most of the 4th itself is actually just partly cloudy.  Now I am going to keep the chance of a thunderstorm in the forecast for Saturday, and I will then go with scattered thunderstorms for Sunday and Monday.
