Humidty backs off, but still hot

Before we get into the weather-I have big news to share!  Jerry Tracey is now a grandfather!  Congrats to Jerry and his family.  We will have a pics of Meire Tracey on our evening newscasts.

It’s another hot day, but at least the humidity is not quite as bad.  This hour yesterday the heat index in Tuscaloosa was 107, right now it’s 96.  The humidity will come back up as we head into the weekend.  Very little changes are expected Thursday and Friday, just a couple of isolated t’storms will pop up in the afternoon.  Models continue to show a pattern shift coming this weekend.  This will bring better rain chances and lower temps especially Sunday into Monday.
