Great Night In Progress

We enjoyed beautiful weather across central Alabama Monday, and I expect more of the same over the next several days.  Weather systems sometimes get locked in place this time of year, and in this case, we have a huge ridge of high pressure in control here, and I don’t look for it to move much at all this week.  So the forecast is rather straightforward:  Nights will be generally clear and cool, and days mostly sunny.
Now about the only thing that might change this outlook is an area of deep moisture along the southeastern United States coastline.  Actually that area is likely to be added to later on this week as moisture from a developing tropical system enters the picture.  It is possible the area of moisture could expand to the west a little late this week and give us some cloud cover, and perhaps in eastern counties, maybe even a shower. I really think the odds are against that though.
As for the tropical system, not much new tonight.  It still lacks organization.  But it will move into an area move favorable for development Tuesday, and there is a chance it will become a tropical depression and then down the road perhaps tropical storm Kyle.
