Get ready for one more beautiful day before things change in a big way.

So far this week has been simply incredible weatherwise with stunning days and crystal clear chilly nights.  Tonight and tomorrow will see the streak contine with tonight being another clear, rather chilly one and tomorrow offering more beautiful sunshine.  It will turn just a little warmer tomorrow with highs near 80, and a few thin high clouds may show up in the afternoon.  Still it will be another beauty.
Friday, on the other hand will not be another beauty.  Moisture will increase rapidly Thursday night, and that will mean increasing cloudiness, and also much higher temperatures as it will only get down to the low or middle 60’s.  Showers could arrive late Thursday night over the western third of Alabama, and at least part of Friday will be wet with showers and thunderstorms.  The potential is there for some heavy downpours, and there could also be a few strong storms with gusty winds.
The front looks like it will keep moving, and that will lead to drier conditions for Saturday and Sunday with highs in the upper 70’s.
