Election day forecast

The weather looks near perfect for everyone to get out and vote on Tuesday.  It will be chilly first thing with temperatures near 50 degrees at 7:00 am with spotty areas of fog.  There could be a few more clouds around tomorrow especially in our eastern counties thanks to an upper level low pressure system spinning over Georgia.  However, any rain associated with this system should stay east of us.  By noon temperatures will have warmed into the upper 60s with low-mid 70s for afternoon highs.  As many folks get off work late in the day temperatures are still expected to be mild; falling to 65 degrees by 6:00 pm.
