Cold nights ahead with some frost likely. Still a chance of some rain this weekend.
Colder air moved in following a cold frontal passage overnight, and with skies staying overcast much of the day, temperatures huddled in the upper 40’s and lower 50’s. There was a little clearing some areas Tuesday afternoon, but I think clouds will fill back in tonight, and that may mean frost formation will be rather spotty Wednesday morning. But there probably still be some, and there will be a liklihood of more widespread frost Wednesday night/Thursday morning. Wednesday itself will feature some clearing with highs in the 55-60 range then Thursday will be mostly sunny and a little warmer.
Friday looks okay, then we remain on the fence this weekend. A low pressure area will form in the Gulf of Mexico, and if it comes far enough north, there may be a period of rain sometime Saturday into Sunday morning. Its not a definite thing, but be ready for the possibility of some wet weather.
I took a glance at the long-range forecast for the Thanksgiving weekend, and most of that time will be chilly, but dry, though there may be some rain showers Thanksgiving day.
