Clouds Finally Show Signs Of Leaving
Over the weekend, our skies were cloudy most of the time, and there were even a few sprinkles falling from those clouds Sunday afternoon and evening. The clouds are still with us of course, so will it stay dull all week? Well I do not think so. Indeed a big high pressure area over the northeastern states will serve to push the clouds to the west of us late tonight and Tuesday. So I am not sure Tuesday will dawn very sunny…indeed I think many clouds will still linger at daybreak..but I think it will be mainly sunny, at least by lunchtime, and the afternoon will feature bright skies. Whatsmore, with the return of sunshine, temperatures will take off. Tuscaloosa made it to at least 80 Monday, but most spots lagged well behind that. However I expect widespread readings of at least 80 Tuesday afternoon , and then the middle 80’s will be common Wednesday and Thursday.
Wednesday will be another mostly sunny day, and Thursday looks nice as well.
About the only chance of rain this week will come Friday when there may be a few scattered showers as a cold front arrives. Behind that front, the weekend looks dry and cooler.
