Chilly air arriving on schedule, as temperatures head downward toward the 50’s.

Temperatures are heading steadily downward, and we will wound up around 50 in the bigger cities in the morning, with 45 to 48 common across many of the communities over the northern half of the area.  So you may well be reaching for a jacket, sweater or even light coat in the morning.
Tuesday will be an absolutely stunningly beautiful day with sunshine , very low humidity, and very pleasant afternoon temperatures.  And then Wednesday and Thursday will follow suit with more fantastic weather.
Tuesday night will be at least as cool as tonight, and might even be 1-2 degrees cooler. Wednesday night will be comfortably cool.
The air mass will change Thursday night and Friday with higher humidity coming back, and an approaching cold front will give us some showers Friday and maybe a thunderstorm or two.
