Big Variety In Weather Across Alabama Wednesday
Its not every day of the year that Auburn comes in cooler then any other spot in the state. But that happened Wednesday. The official high recorded there was just 72 degrees, and that made for the lowest in the state. It has a seemingly wierd today..“The lowest maximum temperature.“ It is probably best not to think about that one too long. Now it was only the lowest by a degree as Anniston recorded a high of 73 degrees. It was no coincidence that both of those locales are in the eastern part of the state. Most areas started with clouds Wednesday morning…but in most places skies eventually became at least partly cloudy. The exception was in the east where for all practical purposes, it stayed cloudy all day. And with the lack of sunshine, it stayed cooler.
I am concerned there may be some semblance of a repeat Thursday, in that high temperatures may again run cooler in the east. But I do think the clearing will progress from west to east a little quicker than it did on Wednesday.
Generally rather nice weather through Saturday, then there may be a shower on Sunday.
