Another clear, cool night in progress and we will enjoy another fine day Thursday.

Its another crystal clear, cool night across central Alabama, though it is not quite as chilly as the past 2 nights.  The atmosphere is starting to moisten up a bit and so dewpoints are rising, and that will prevent temperatures from getting quite as low.  It looks like the average low might be in the range of 49-54.  Thursday will be another fine day with sunshine.  It will be a little warmer with highs near 80, and the humidity will be a little higher.  Looks like good weather for UAB at Legion Field Thursday evening.
The latest computer forecast models are suggesting this upcoming frontal passage happens quickly.  In fact showers and thunderstorms will arrive after midnight Thursday night and continue only into Friday morning.  That could well mean we are already into a drying trend come lunchtime Friday.  Having said that, Friday’s morning rush hour looks like a very slow go.
The weekend looks okay with partially sunny skies, though I cannot completely rule out a shower sneaking back Sunday.
Shower chances will increase slowly next week.
