Afternoon Showers and T’storms

A cold front will move closer to the state this afternoon bringing showers and t’storms to the area.  The rain may be heavy at times with lightning and thunder, but the threat of severe weather appears low.  Showers will continue this evening as the front comes through the area.  Colder air will filter into the state making a chilly Friday.  I just made the temps on the 7 day lower through the weekend.  There may be some upper 30’s Saturday morning, but more likely Sunday morning.  The weather will be drier going into next week as temps start to moderate by Monday.
