A temporary break in the rain this evening.

Radar is almost completely rain free this evening.  Overnight there is a chance of showers and t’storms developing.  I think this is more likely toward morning.  Tuesday is expected to be another active day with t’storms and additional flooding is likely.  Computer models continue to hint at a change later this week.  Fewer t’storms are expected by Wednesday-be we can’t rule rain out completely.  A weak ridge of high pressure will build over the area for a few days giving us a chance to dry out.  I am concerned that the models may be overdoing the ridge, but will go with the idea for now.  Even with the ridge overhead, there still may be a few showers and t’storms, but they will not be as widespread.
