Some storms will move in for the overnight period, and another round is due late in the week.
Nicest period this week likely to be in the Wednesday afternoon into Thursday time frame when rain chances will be at their smallest and when we may actually receive a little sunshine.

Very dreary, dull night out there.
These low clouds, fog and drizzle will give way to warmer weather by Tuesday afternoon, then an approaching cold front will bring some showers and thunderstorms Tuesday night.
Active weather on tap for this week with at least two chances for getting rain.
First feature due to affect us Tuesday night into Wednesday with the 2nd one coming Friday afternoon into Saturday.

Weekend off to a great start with moonlit skies and very comfortable conditions.
It will get rather cool overnight with temperatures sinking down to near 50. Saturday will be a stunningly beautiful day with sunshine and temperatures heading to near 80.
Cold front moving away and so are the rain chances.
Stage is set for a super Saturday with sunshine and highs close to 80 with very low humidity. Sunday will be a bit of a let down with increasing cloudiness leading to rain arriving afternoon or evening.

Front moving right along, and will arrive here during the day on Friday.
Band of rain with the front is quite narrow. that combined with fast movement means the rain will not last very long in any given spot, and the total amount of rain that falls will not be excessive.

Another clear, cool night in progress and we will enjoy another fine day Thursday.
But cold front still on target to get here Friday, and that will mean showers and thunderstorms. Assuming the front keeps on moving, Saturday and Sunday will still be okay.

Another clear, chilly night in progress.
High pressure will be in control for the next 2 days, and that means more fine weather. Still looks like cold front arrives Friday with showers and thunderstorms.
Absolute perfect weather to continue for a couple of more days.
Next storm on the horizon, and it will bring a dramatic change on Friday when showers and thunderstorms again march across central Alabama.

Chilly air arriving on schedule, as temperatures head downward toward the 50’s.
This large, dry Canadian air mass is here for the long-haul, at least if you consider 3 days the “long-haul”. We have three simply beautiful days coming up. Moisture will return later on this week, and that combined with a cold front will mean showers on Friday.
Finally it is going to feel like Fall!
Cold front moving through southern sections of the area now. Northwest winds will bring a significant change to cooler, much less humid weather starting tonight, and the next 3 days look simply fantastic!

Authentic shot of much cooler air on the way.
Many parts of central Alabama will taste the 40’s for the first time this season, with the chilliest weather coming Monday night, Tuesday night and Wednesday night. Days will be muich less humid and will have that real “autumn-feel” to them.

Weekend cold front will bring some changes.
Some showers and thundershowers are likely on Saturday, then a second cold front will bring much less humid air by Monday night and Tuesday.
Cold front arrives this weekend with rain for awhile Saturday.
Better weather for Sunday with mainly rainfree conditions and a warm afternoon high in the 80’s. Second cold front arrives next week to sweep away humidity.

Lull in the rain not going to last very long, as a cold front will arrive this weekend.
Rain chances look limited overnighrt, will increase some on Friday, and then rain chances increase further on Saturday.
A little chance to dry out some, before the next significant rains move in.
Saturday looks like the next chance of significant showers and thunderstorms. It will not be the beginning of a several-day siege like we just had. Still with saturated ground, there could still be some flash flooding, and some of the storms may bring gusty winds.
