Tile-a great home improvement project

Within the last fifteen years tile has become a very popular do-it-yourselfer project for homeowners.  It has proven to add value to a home when selling, but also can greatly enhance the look a home-especially in bathrooms and kitchens.  I personally have done many tile projects.  What I enjoy about tile is design process-there are so many options:
Porcelain, ceramic tile-manmade and usually some of the cheapest tiles
Natural stone-granite, limestone, travertine, marble, slate, -overall usually more expensive as it has to be quarried
Then there is glass tile-I will be posting on this subject all next week explaining how has become a great option-but not necessarily for beginners.
