A New Home for NBC13.com
My face isn’t on the front page anymore, but I’m easy to find. When you come to NBC13.com, just click on News in the blue bar at the top, and you’ll see my smiling face there…. if I had a better smiling face, we’d use that. Some of the blogs that I’ve written in recent days have been transferred to our new web site and you’ll see the name of one of our fine web journalist who did the transfer. The way it appears, it sort of looks like a byline and that someone else wrote the blog….....they didn’t, I did.
Anyway, I continue to be amazed at the number of people who read this postings. Your write something here on the world wide web, and sort of wonder if anyone will ever see it. Then, you’re out on the street or in another state and someone will say; “hey, I read your blog all the time.“ That is the best of compliments.

We have a Capital One credit card I chose this card for the 4.99% interest rate forever - as long as we were never late on a payment. We were never late our records show that we were never late. It jumped to 9.99%. When we inquired about the rate increase the company representative said they gave us an opportunity to decline the rate increase on a statement they sent us. I would like to know who would say yes, “I want to increase my interest rate.“ How can they break an original agreement when we did everything right, we always paid more than the min. We have excellent credit. I just don’t understand how they can bury something like that in paper work and get away with it. Is there anything we can do about this?
