Finding The Perfect Halloween Costume

October is here, and it’s time to start planning your outfit for All Hallows’ Eve! There’s nothing worse than having the same costume as someone else (we’ll no doubt see a LOT of Sarah Palin this year!), so here’s a list of helpful hints AND a few links to help you get inspired!

-It’s an election year… unless you like getting heckled, steer clear of all things political
-Keep your activities in mind when planning your accessories (Do you REALLY want to go trick-or-treating in 4-inch heels and angel wings?)
-Homemade always trumps store-bought… get inspired by something you see online, then make it your own
-Get the whole gang involved- you never go wrong with a group theme… the cast of “Gilligan’s Island” or the Ninja Turtles ALWAYS have a good time!
-Don’t be afraid to try something different!
