USA Goes for the Gold, Steph Walker Goes for the Iron

If you watch Today in Alabama in the mornings then you see Steph doing the weather.  She’s always dressed in a gorgeous suit and looks very professional.  What you don’t see and probably didn’t know is underneath that suit she sports a red cape and an “S” on her chest because she is SUPERWOMAN.  Our very own Stephanie Walker will be competing in British Columbia, Canada on August 24th in her very first IRONMAN Triathlon!  Yes, a full ironman.  For those non-triathletes, like me, out there…that’s a 2.4 mile swim, 112 mile bike and a FULL 26.2 mile marathon.  All in the same day…back to back.  She has been training for over 9 months for this event…and she is ready. 

Please keep Steph in your prayers next weekend.  We want her to have fun and be safe.  We are so proud of you iron woman!
