Kirkwood by the River

It can be a tough decision to admit your parents or grandparents into an assisted living facility but once you hear about this one…you’ll feel more like you’re sending them on vacation. I had the pleasure of visiting Kirkwood by the River and viewing their gorgeous Continuing Care Retirement Community.  They have every level of senior adult living-– Independent Living, Assisted Living, Specialty Care Assisted Living and Skilled Nursing.  I talked to Paula Foust about the differences and learned about all of the different amenities offered such as gardens, walking trails, swimming pool, fitness center, library, game rooms, a full-time chaplain, and on-site medical services.
