2009 RIDE TO BENEFIT DUSTY ATCHISON
Saturday March the 7th 2009
Mission Baptist Church to sponsor a motorcycle ride to benefit Dusty Atchison. Dusty is a 16 year old who has had both of his kidney’s removed on Friday the 13th and is in need of a transplant. Since his family and friends ride, they are reaching out to the motorcycle community for help!
**Ride to start registration @ 1:30 pm

There will be “finger food” & drinks from the ladies at the church.

Dusty’s Grandfather also has an account set up for him at First Financial Bank. You can go to any First Financial to make a donation for Dusty Atchison.
ALL-YOU-CAN-EAT PANCAKE BREAKFAST
Pell City High School Drama Club will be hosting an ALL-YOU-CAN-EAT Pancake Breakfast this Saturday March 7th at the Pell City Rec Hall on 19th Street South from 6am until 11am. Tickets are $5 and a child 12 and under may eat FREE with a paid adult. This fundraiser will support the school’s upcoming production of Peter Pan the Musical. Tickets will be available at the door and take outs will be available. There will also be a Pancake Eating contest open to individuals 18 years and older beginning at 9:15am during the pancake breakfast. A paid ALL-YOU-CAN-EAT ticket will be required for entry. The winner will receive a trophy and a $50 gas card. Contestants will be required to fill out a release form and should be present by 9am.
VESTAVIA HILLS CITIZEN OF THE YEAR BANQUET
On Thursday, March 5, 2009, the 20th Annual Citizen of the Year Banquet will be held at Shades Mountain Baptist Church Conference Center. This event is hosted by Leadership Vestavia Hills, an independent, non-profit, non-partisan organization whose mission is to develop the leadership potential in Vestavia Hills. Dinner will be served at 6:30 pm and presentation begins at 7:15 pm. Tickets prices are $30.00 for adults and $15.00 for students under 21 years of age.
