Bassets Gone Wild

Basset Hound Rescue of Alabama (http://www.bhra.org).

It’s a fundraiser to cover the costs of vet bills for the dozens of basset hounds rescued.  All of the bassets are fully vetted and spayed or neutered before they are adopted.  They are also checked and treated for heartworms, if necessary.  The costs add up quickly.

This year the Bash is at the Oak Mountain State Park fishing pavilion on Saturday, May 2 from 10-2.  The theme is:  “Bassets Gone Wild”.  There will be a live and silent auction as well as a raffle.  Basset pups will also enjoy games—longest ears, shortest to the ground, best howl and a costume contest.
