What are some of the most extreme ways you save money?

The way the economy is, I don’t blame people for trying to save money.  I really don’t.  I mean, I do as much as I can.  However, you have to draw the line somewhere.  Clipping coupons and searching out sales ads?  Sure!  Calling different companies (like a satellite provider) and talking your way into a lower bill?  Been there, done that!  But going the illegal route ... or buying underwear or bathing suits at a yard sale?  I don’t think so!!!!

Chris Pollone sent me a link a while back from The Consumerist.  It was for an article called “112 Ways to Save Money.“  Yes, I included the link.  I want you to check it out for yourself.  The author asked readers to submit ways they save money.  And don’t get me wrong, it has some great advice—some of which I do believe in.  But keeping a mason jar (or two) in the TOILET??  Ugg.  Cut my own hair??  I’d be bald!!  Split the internet with neighbors????  And I’ll just let you read for yourself the tips on “that time of the month.“  Guys, I won’t make you go there!!

For me, there is such a thing as going too far.  And to me, the ones I mentioned above are funny to read ... but I would never go there!
