Okay, I don’t usually advocate magazine subscriptions, even though I have a couple of subscriptions myself.  However, I found one while I was at the grocery store checkout line that is MORE than worth the $2.50 I paid for it!  It’s called “All You”.  Why do I say it’s more than worth it?  Because the entire magazine is loaded with coupons, giveaways, great deals, and money-saving advice!

I first noticed it a few months ago while I was waiting in line.  Yes, I know the checkout line is a bargain hunter’s death trap!  However, what caught my eye was the headline “$70+ dollars in coupons!“.  I decided to flip through it to investigate.  I mean, it could be worth it if they were coupons I normally used anyway.  If they were all high-end items I wouldn’t buy anyway, it would be a waste.  To my welcome surprise, MANY of the coupons were for products on at least some of my grocery lists!  I didn’t need ALL of them ... but I definitely used a LOT more than just $3 in coupons—therefore, making my money back and more!

Before I posted this, I also wanted to check out the magazine’s website.  Like most other publications, I found most (if not all) of the articles online.  HOWEVER, I didn’t find a place on the site with printable coupons—so you’ll have to get a physical copy of the magazine to get the savings (I thought that was an interesting financial idea—we have to pay for the magazine; they won’t just let you search the site for free AND get the coupons).

So is this magazine for you?  Right now, some of the articles include “Slim down without hitting the gym,“ “10 simple ways to cut down on your bills,“ and “Shopping here will save you money at the gas pump.“  I also did some digging and found a blog entry called “Get free food this weekend”—and it’s all about Father’s Day freebies!  Click that link to check it out for yourself.  Some have already expired, but some are coming up!

One more piece of advice:  if you decide to subscribe, I recommend Amazon over the magazine’s website.

I hope this helps!  Remember, if you have ideas for future blogs, or follow me on Twitter!

Thanks for that! It was really a very nice article! I’ll check out the magazine that you had said because in this time of crisis, we should spend our money wisely. The rate of job losses is increasing. In fact, social networking site MySpace is the next large company that will be making job cuts. Maybe with a little innovation and some quick loans, MySpace will be back on top.
