Video: Wednesday fatal fire victim identified

BIRMINGHAM-The Jefferson County coroner’s office has identified the victim from Wednesday morning’s fatal fire as Anika Gholston, 22.

The fire broke out just after midnight Wednesday morning at a home in the 900 block of Ridge Place.

Three people were able to escape.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
