VIDEO: Tropical Storm Fay Slams into Daytona Beach

Tropical Storm Fay is slowly making its way up the Florida coast.

High winds and heavy rains pounded the Daytona Beach area Wednesday morning.

Officials there say their two biggest concerns are flash flooding and beach erosion.

Fay is expected to weaken as she moves up the Florida coast before turning inland on Thursday.

Forecasters no longer expect the storm to gain hurricane strength.
