VIDEO: Pistol-Packin’ Granny Puts Would-Be Burglar Behind Bars

A would-be burglar is behind bars thanks to a pistol-packing Pennsylvania grandmother.

85-year-old Leda Smith held the teenage burglar at gun-point when she found him in her Springhill home Monday afternoon.

Smith forced the burglar into her living room, where she ordered him to call 911 and turn himself in.

Smith says she warned the 17-year-old burglar that she would shoot him if he threw the phone at her or made any sudden moves.

After the burglar placed the call she ordered him to lie on the floor, where he remained until police arrived.

The teen is now facing several charges including attempted burglary.

His case will be handled in juvenile court.
