JEFFERSON CO. Ala— In a 3-0 vote, Jefferson County Commissioners approved the designiation of a “Recovery Zone” which will allow the county to tap into more than $67M dollars in federal funds. The funds will come in the way of bonds under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009.
