Update: Rep. DeMarco’s County Manger Bill Passes House

JEFFERSON CO. Ala— NBC 13 HD News has confirmed from Jefferson County Rep. Paul Demarco who is in Montgomery that the Jefferson Co. County Manger Bill passed the House 65 votes to zero.
The bill, if signed into law, would establish a Jefferson County manager position.
The person hired as county manager would be responsible for Jefferson county’s day to day operations.
The bill is sponsored by Jefferson county Representative Paul DeMarco and will now go to the senate for review.
