UPDATE: Missing Fisherman Found

The body of a fisherman who has been missing since Tuesday has been found in Lake Purdy.
Dive teams from Hoover and Jefferson County and other emergency crews discovered the man, who was reported missing after falling into the water while he was fishing Tuesday, September 23, 2008.
A witness says the man fell overboard and his life vest slipped over his head.
All rescue units were seen pulling out of the Lake Purdy area just before 2 p.m. Thursday.
The man is described to be in his 60’s. No word yet on the identity of the victim. Birmingham police are handing the investigation.
