Update: Authorities Identify Jefferson County Murder Victim

Authorities in Jefferson County have identified a homicide victim who was found outside of apartments on Amberwood Drive as 40-year-old Luis Dagoberto Hernandez Lopez.

Sheriff’s detectives said Lopez was found Sunday morning.

Investigators said the cause of death was blunt force trauma.

No arrests have been made, but detectives are offering leads.
