A student and star University of Alabama at Birmingham football player is wanted for failing to register as a sex offender.
The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office has a warrant for 24 year old Will Dunbar.
Investigators claim Dunbar failed to register last month as required by law.
Dunbar was convicted in 2004 of aggravated sodomy and aggravated rape on a 16 year old girl in Atlanta.
Dunbar has played free safety for the UAB blazers.
He was a preseason all Conference USA pick in 2007.
