Two Year Old Child Found With Severe Bruises

A person of interest in the apparent assault of a two year old child has been located.
In a news release from the Birmingham Police Department, BPD officers responded to Children’s Hospital in Birmingham Sunday, August 17, 2008, about 10:35 p.m., to investigate the apparent assault of a 2-year old assault victim.
Hospital staff told officers the child was suffering from severe bruises and his condition was critical.
Investigators were looking for a person of interest named Jamel Hubbard, 22, Birmingham.
Hubbard has been located.
