Two men accused in Etowah County home burglary and setting house on fire

Two men have been arrested and charged in a home burglary and theft, where the house was set on fire.
According to the Etowah County Sheriff’s Office, Michael Jason Jenkins, 33, of Reece City, and Bobby Dale Ragan, 40, of Boaz, were arrested and charged with burglary and theft of property.
Jenkins and Ragan are charged with one count of third degree burglary and one count of first degree theft of property and second degree theft of property.
All are felony charges.
Jenkins is also charged with second degree arson.
The incident occurred on August 22, 2009 in Reece City.
Jenkins and Ragan allegedly broke into a residence located on Dallas Road. 
After stealing jewelry, guns and various other items, Jenkins is believed to have set the house on fire.
